The original recipe came from Joanna, one of my favorite source of Asian recipes. I also made the steamed fish from her recipes many times and loved it!
A few modifications I made were:
1) Smaller batch. ~ 160g pork, 1 small Fuji apple, 1/2 tsp salt, 1/2 tsp corn starch
2) Added ~ 2 tbs grilled onions, 2 bunches of baby bok choy chopped finely (didn't recognize the veggie she used, so I substituted)
3) Added Chinese five spice powder.
The meatballs were tasty; however I wish they were more firm. My girls took a few bites on the stick and the meatball fell apart. One of them liked the meatball quite a lot probably because of its sweet taste.
