Quick Chicken Fricassee

This is a recipe from the Cooks Illustrated. I imagined it to be like the Italian Chicken Marsala when I saw the picture. Overall the instruction was pretty simple and straight forward and the ingredients are easily available. It smelled really nice when I was making the dish; however the chicken turned out less flavorful than I expected. OR should I say, it didn't turn out to be the Chicken Marsala that I expected? Perhaps I should have used more salt and lighter on the lemon. (But the lemon was free from the neighbor's tree!!!) It is worth a try again though.
